We own The Child's Nurturing Center, Inc. in Finksburg, Conrey Construction completed a new roof project for us on our business site. The owner, Skip, was persistent in letting us know that roof work on our business site could be done quickly and professionally by his company. He stated his experience dealing with insurance companies was extensive and there would be no issue getting the damage from the storms repaired. He repeatedly told us he would be the one to work with our insurance supplier and not us, relieving us to do our work without distraction. We found him to be true to his word. There were difficulties with our insurance company being reluctant to cover damages that were, obviously, in need of repair but Skip knew what he was doing and explained to the adjuster why this should be the case. The adjuster agreed. Our roofs were repaired beautifully and Skip even did work requested in addition to the original damage which we paid for separately at a very reasonable price. Yes, it does take time to get his crew on the job but, in today's market, not as long as many companies. We started with another roofer that strung us along for over six months as they were trying to overcharge the insurance company and us. Be advised that Conrey's roof work is impeccable and they back up what they do.

We found a hole in our roof after some bad weather and immediately contacted our insurance but rather than wait to get work done we decided to reach out to some local companies to see who could assess and help us fix the problem. I contacted Conrey as one of the companies as my neighbor had recently gotten some work done and he was extremely satisfied. I had been dissapointed with how far out other contractors and companies were for roof repair and roof replacement, so when I contacted Conrey I wasn't expecting much. However I got a call back from Skip the owner within less then an hour of leaving a message and then met him that same day. He reviewed the issue and made a recommendation. Long story short, after an initial meeting on Monday midday I had a new roof installed by 7PM on Wednesday. The crew was amazing as they did a double sweep with a magnet, in the dark, knowing that I had little children and a dog in the house that could be hurt by any potential nails or other materials being left on the grounds. We have been happy with the results and the warranty on work and materials is also very good. We are close to selling our home and will be glad to be able to tell people of the recent work done.

I had excellent service from Tim Wingate. I had issues with a sliding glass door and screen and a large picture window and the cellular shade for it Although this was a smaller job I was grateful that Tim took the time to patiently listen to me and get everything in working order. He was very pleasant and worked efficiently. I am very happy with the excellent service and pricing. I would definitely recommend them!

I was remiss in providing a review for the work Conrey Construction did for us in March 2023. Tim Wingate was our Sales Representative and his estimate with quality materials came in far below other estimates. We actually had one company who wanted $65,000 to replace the roof and siding for our small rancher. The Work Crew who replaced our roof and siding was very conscientious and did a spectacular job. They cleaned up the debris after each day’s work. A response for help came this year when an exterminator recently poked an “x” shape hole in our siding. I told the extermination company about it but since they are unscrupulous they never offered to pay for the cost to repair or replace the piece of siding. I contacted Tim who sent Meltey, one of his Crew Supervisors to replace the piece of siding. I like this aspect of Conrey Construction and Tim Wingate to respond to our request for assistance several years after the work was done. Highly recommend this company for any roof and/ or siding work.

Conrey replaced six windows in our home's basement. The price was good and the installation was very good. The installers were very professional and courteous, maintained attention to detail and cleaned up very well. The windows look great, well installed, and I had fare less touch-up paint work on the window molding than I would have expected. I've used them previously at another home and both experiences were very good.

I had a wonderful experience working with Brady from Conrey Construction at my home located in 21234. It started with a phone call and conversation with Mr. “Skip”, who kindly took my information over the phone and set me up with an appointment for someone to come out and take a look at my roof. Where Brady really stands out is his handling of ALL my questions and ideas. Firstly, after getting a couple other quotes, I was impressed that Brady suggested that they would only change certain planks of wood if necessary, as opposed to suggesting it all be changed and quoting me some exorbitant price. The price was extremely reasonable (so much so that I decided to change everything). I also opted to update my siding as well, which I financed. This opened a wealth of ideas of potential roof and siding color combinations, which Brady never turned down 😉However, he did help me to visualize what a typical roof would look like after the process is complete, so I could make decisions I wouldn’t regret. He helped keep me in the loop with the financing company and even came out to make sure he could get as many leftover nails from the project as possible, for safety reasons. I would recommend using Conrey Construction. The guys who did the work did a great job and were really respectful of my home as far as having to come in and out, since my old home doesn’t have any outside outlets. That’s my next project. 😏 thanks Skip and Brady!

My parents recently had their roof replaced with Conrey Construction. Brady handled everything with their insurance company and because it was a local company, he was able to come to the house in Owings Mills several times to answer questions during the long processing time. Although the crew worked for over 12 hours and left the property spotless, Brady came by the next day with a magnetic sweeper to ensure there were no more nails. We’re extremely pleased with our experience and highly recommend Conrey Construction.

All I can say is Wow..... Conrey Construction & Skip the Owner were wonderful. They are Carroll County's Best in my opinion. We received quotes from several companies. Some were general sales people who were pushy, or were way to expensive. Skip, the owner came out to my house and was not at all pushy. Just down to earth. We originally were just going to get a repair done due to damage through our insurance company. Then we decided to get a quote for the whole roof. Skip was very honest about the product he would be using. GAF. I did my reviews of both GAF and Certain-Teed and found the GAF to be a much better product. Even though Skip came in a little higher than another company, I felt more comfortable with Conrey/Skip. He was honest and and does thing with a handshake. He truly takes care of his customers. He came by several times because I had questions and was at the sight when the roof was installed. They got it done in a day. Crew was wonderful and did a great job cleaning up afterward.

On a recent Friday night, a tree limb punctured our new roof during a storm. We discovered a sizable leak in the ceiling at about 8:30 p.m. I called Skip and he answered immediately. Skip advised what to do to prevent further damage overnight and made a plan to get someone to repair the leak early the next morning. He followed up early Saturday morning to let us know one of his best people would be at our house within the hour to make repairs. Skip met the technician at our home and personally went to the store to purchase our new shingles. The repair work was completed quickly and at a great price. A job well done with top-notch customer service!

Conrey Construction did vinyl siding on my home in 2011 and the job went flawlessly. The siding still looks new to this day. They also installed new sliding doors and a couple windows at the same time. The sliders are still like new. I have recently contacted Tim from Conrey for several smaller projects and he has gone out of his way to get the work done in a timely matter and problem free.

I recently had Conrey Construction replace the roof on one of my rental properties in Mt. Airy. I had an estimate from another company and I was overwhelmed by the pushy salesman that said I had to make a decision on the spot. When Brady came out he showed me drone photos of the roof and pointed out some signs of wear and tear that comes with a 25yr old roof. Fortunately/Unfortunately there wasn’t any storm damage and Brady advised me that it wasn’t worth filing a claim with my homeowners insurance. He left me with a written estimate and references of jobs he did nearby. After doing some research I was comfortable moving forward with Conrey Construction. The crew that did the install was very efficient and installed the roof in 1 day and cleaned up like they were never there. Now every time it rains I have peace of mind that I won’t be getting a call about it leaking!

Brady came highly recommended by my cousin Peggy and Rodney Cofield. He was on time, rare for the construction industry, with his initial quote. His attention to detail, and the cost within market range, made me look no further for bids. Most important is he is honest and humble. Brady “house side manner” is wonderful. As a single woman, I really hate getting things fixed on my homes. Brady put me at ease with his cheerful, yet efficient personality. He respectfully explained the basics of roofing without being condescending or disrespectful. His humbleness put me at ease. He did not try to up sale me and explained what the price difference in different options. He used no sales pressure and he mastered the basics of marketing. Always Be Closing. He closed the sale quickly. The scariest thing is giving a large deposit to a home repair company. Brady worked with me, and the credit card option was a plus. Brady set a date when the roof was to go on and was cognizant of my schedule. I am working in New York and needed to come down for it. He explained the possible rain delays. He confirmed the time a few days before my departure. I called him the night before (unnecessary) to confirm. Precisely at 6:30 AM the crew arrived. They finished 3:30PM on schedule. I was delighted that Brady walked with me around the house and there was not a nail in the grown. It was hard to tell the crew was there. The best part is Brady was honest and direct. I became sole owner of my childhood home when my mother died. She lived there for 55 years. Her insurance company transferred the policy in my name. A month later they sent an inspector out there who found that the roof needed repairing. I forgot that we had major windstorms over the summer. Brady explained to me, after I paid him, that the insurance company should have covered the roof. He soothed me and explained how I could file a claim. Needless to say, his clear advice will be followed. Thank you again for humbleness, honesty, and enjoyable conversation. I loved when he, at my request, shared his baby’s pix. So cute and cuddly. We just had our roof replaced by Conrey Const. and they did a magnificent job. This is a no nonsense first class operation. All great people that were professional and diligent in excellence of a job well done to our expectations. The GAF shingles used are the best around and I highly recommend that you call them. Skip Conrey listens to your needs and does not try to pad the contract. They don't have to crawl around in your attic or try to use fear tactics to pressure you. You get exactly what you want at price much lower than the competition. I might add that they worked closely with our daily schedule plus unfavorable weather conditions and completed the job in one day with a top notch cleanup of our yard and shrubbery. Conrey Construction just installed 10 windows in my home. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. The owner, Skip Conrey is a class act. He came out to provide the initial quote and stopped by after the job was complete to make sure I was satisfied. The installers were equally professional and thorough. You deal directly with the owner, who is a great guy who cares a lot more about his reputation and the quality of work and customer services his company provides than trying to rush through jobs and make as much money as possible, which is what you see from many other companies in the area. You don't have to worry about any of the communication nightmares that you experience with other companies. He walks you through the project and visits at all hours of the day to check on the progress and make sure you are satisfied. His crew did a great job. This past Winter A few February and March storms combined for an effective one two punch on my aging roof. Enter SKip "White Lightning" Conrey. He got the ball rolling with my insrance company and within a few weeks my damaged roof was replaced. The work was completed in a day. No fuss no muss. Conrey included a much needed Needed Chimney Cap that the insurance comany itnitially missed. Great work all the way down the line.

Skip swung by my house and explained to me I may be able to make an insurance claim due to visible wind damage to my shingles and walked me through the whole process. Sure enough he was right and 4 days later his crew was here and had the whole job done in 3 hours. I was so pumped at how great it looked I asked for a quote for new gutters and down spouts because they have been overflowing. Skip talked me out of it, said they were in perfect condition and that the pitch was too steep then had one of his guys fix it for me for free. I reached out to Conrey on a recommendation from a family member and I was completely pleased with the service I received. Skip Conrey, the owner, was very knowledgeable about roofing and happy to explain the process to me. In addition, he went over the different choices I had in picking the kind of roof I wanted. I love the twenty-year warranty I got with my roof and he made sure my roof met Baltimore County codes—which my current roof didn’t—which definitely is going to help me with energy costs moving forward. The total cost of my roof was wonderful, and I didn’t feel like I got ripped off or that someone was trying to take advantage of me. Skip constantly kept me updated on my roofing supply delivery date as well as the timeframe of the actual install—less than 3 weeks from signature of contract to roof installation—AWESOME!!!!! I wanted to say we just had our roof completely redone by this company and wow what a great job they did every person from top to bottom was extremely friendly and polite. I needed a new roof. I've been noticing alot of the Conrey Construction Co. signs in my neighborhood on neighbors lawns. I talked with a few neighbors. They advised me of the great job, care and service this company & Brady Smith gave them. I called Brady Smith's # on the signs about getting my new roof. I was NOT disappointed one bit! Quite the contrary! Brady was so nice, professional and helpful! He went above and beyond from the start through to finish! He made me feel like VIP throughout the whole process. Brady was so calm and informative and helped calmed me as well. He gave great advice, etc. and kept in contact either in person or via phone and was also easily reachable. The work started promptly. His workers were prompt, and efficient with the job as well as the clean up! Quality products as well. I definitely refer this company and give a 5star rating! This is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor!! Will def. use them or/and refer them in future! One last thing everyone.., just a quick word to the wise: "STAY AWAY from Allied Remodeling of Central MD."
